Hello again! I'm featuring some Finnabair moulds and paints on this canvas made for the January Art Recipe.
Along with the required colors of green-olive, romance pink, and vintage gold, I used metallique paints, and pebbles and tissue paper from my own stash.
After priming the canvas with clear gesso, I embossed one of the Finnabair Net & Wire Stamps with Ranger Mixed Media Powder (Hammered). Then I adhered torn strips of tissue paper with Prima Marketing Soft Matte Gel, followed by a light wash of Art Alchemy Sparks (Dragon's Eye) and Metallique (Green Olive) Paints.
The chipboard frame was covered with gesso, and painted with Art Alchemy Sparks (Fairy Wings) and Metallique (Golden Moss) Paints. Next, I embossed over it with one of the Finnabair Rust and Dust Stamps using Ranger Mixed Media Powder (Hammered). Then I filled the inside with Mini Art Stones, adhered with Soft Matte Gel, and painted them with Kaisercraft Kaisermist (Coffee). The Finnabair (Art Nouveau) Mould was used with paper clay for the woman, and painted with Metallique (Rustic Brown, Dragon's Eye, and Romance Pink) Paints. Her lips were painted with Dylusions (Peony Blush) Paint, with some green micro beads for her eyes.
A portion of the Finnabair (Hollybrook Ironwork) Mould was used around the frame, and painted with Metallique (Golden Moss) and Sparks (Fairy Wings) Paints. Then I used my fingers to add Metallique Wax (Vintage Gold).
The clear pebbles were embossed on the back with Ranger's (Gold Tinsel) Embossing Powder. The keys and key hole were also made from paper clay, using the Finnabair Key Mould, and painted with Metallique (Rustic Brown) and Sparks (Dragon's Eye) Paints.
After priming the flowers with clear gesso, I painted them with Dylusion's Paints (Peony Blush and White Linen), and embossed the edges with Ranger's (Gold Tinsel) Embossing Powder.
