Graphic 45 (Penny's Paper Doll Family) Art Journal ~ FotoBella DT

Hello and Happy February! I'm back with my latest project using the Graphic 45 (Penny's Paper Doll Family) collection from FotoBella.com. I wanted to feature Penny and her family, so I brought out my art journal to create this spread.

This collection has a lot of border pieces on the papers and sticker sheet, which I pieced together to make a frame around both pages, rubbing the edges with Prima Marketing Metallique Waxes (Bronze Age and Vintage Gold).

The background is made from torn pieces of paper and tissue from a sewing pattern, adhered with Prima Marketing Soft Matte Gel. Then I added some Distress Spray Stains (Vintage Photo, Antique Linen, and Worn Lipstick).

I cut slits in the hats right below the brims, with an X-acto knife, before gluing to their heads.

     Lots of fussy-cutting!

Little sister Emily is the only one without a hat!

Since Penny's the star of this collection, I included two of her outfits (the blue and red dresses and hats).

Thanks for looking and shop Graphic 45 by collection at FotoBella.com!

Graphic 45 (Penny's Paper Doll Family) Layout ~ FotoBella DT

Did you ever play with paper dolls as a kid? I sure did! So the Graphic 45 (Penny's Paper Doll Family) collection from FotoBella.com took me back to my childhood, with vintage paper dolls and beautiful papers, that I assembled into a quilt design, on this page that I scrapped of my dad and his siblings. My dad is the one in the middle with the bow tie. Aren't they all (Sew) cute?

All of the squares were cut at 2", and the edges rubbed with Prima Marketing Metallique Wax (Bronze Age). Then I added gold machine stitching, and some old buttons that I had from my late grandma, and great-grandma. The stitching on the buttons came from them, so I left the others alone.

The tape measure also came from one of my grandma's, and was the perfect addition to this collection! Then I found some old chipboard for my title, and added Metallique Wax (Vintage Gold) to the edges.

The same wax was also used on the flower from my stash, and the edges of the chipboard button.

All five paper dolls were fussy-cut to represent each kid.

I love the little dresses and hats!

And let's not forget about the boys!

Thanks for looking, and shop this collection at FotoBella.com!

Graphic 45 Penny's Paper Doll Tags ~ FotoBella DT

Hello! Today I have a fun set of tags using the Graphic 45 (Penny's Paper Doll Family) I Want It All Bundle from FotoBella.com. I used the friends around the world paper dolls, representing Spain, Netherlands, China, and Scotland.

Each doll is able to access his or her costume with accordion fold tabs along the centers, with a smaller outfit, cut from the 8 X 8 Paper Pad, hidden underneath.

For a step-by-step written tutorial please visit the FotoBella Blog. Directions will specifically be for the Scotland Tag, but can be used for most other paper dolls in the Graphic 45 (Penny's Paper Doll Family) I Want It All Bundle from FotoBella.com. Thanks for looking!
