I can't believe my only child turned 19 today! He LOVES every shade of blue, so I played with blending my Lindy's Gang Sprays on his birthday card, adding purple for his birthstone, amethyst.

Lindy's Gang January Color Challenge Card
With the new year, comes new resolutions, and one of mine last year was to enter all of Lindy's Gang Color Challenges. I came close, but missed last November and December, so thought I'd start again with this card for January, and my first post for 2021.
The snowflakes were stamped with the Bo Bunny Snowflakes Stamp, and embossed with Lindy's Gang (Silver Moon Turquoise) Embossing Powder. Then I applied Finnabair (Platinum Crackle) Texture Paste to the edges, and let it air dry, before spritzing with Lindy's Gang Sprays (Pop Rock Purple and Afternoon Delight Denim), and adding snow splatters with (Sidewalk Chalk).
Finally, the sentiment was embossed with LG (Hollyhock Scarlet Plum) Embossing Powder.
Thanks for looking, and hope your year has gotten off to a great start!

Fall Fairy Art Journal Page
Fall is my favorite season, so it felt good to finally play with some leaves in my art journal!
I started by adhering torn dictionary pages, a crossword puzzle, and textured cream papers to my page, along with touches of white gesso. Then I applied black gesso to the birch Tim Holtz Mini Stencil (Set #21). Once it all dried, I colored it with Lindy's Gang Sprays (My Mojito Green and Autumn Maple Crimson) and Magicals (Tears on my Pillow Tangerine, Bratwurst Brown, and Aged Copper). I didn't like the colored trees, so I went over them with Lindy's Gang Sprays (Sidewalk Chalk and Cafe Au Lait). The branch was a leftover die cut that I embossed with Lindy's Gang (Midnight Copper) Embossing Powder. Then I stamped the leaves with Palette Inks, which are permanent, and did the edges with (Black Soot) Distress Ink. To mimic fairy dust, they were finished with a coat of (Copper) Stickles.
I think the quote is perfect for this chipboard Sitting Fairy from Creative Embellishments! After a coat of black gesso, I embossed the trunk with Lindy's Gang (Midnight Copper) EP, and the fairy with (Midnight Pewter Obsidian) EP, adding (Copper) Stickles to her wings.

With Sympathy Card
Hello again! It's never easy making a sympathy card, but this one came together pretty quickly!
I used colors from the September Color Challenge at Lindy's Gang, and finished just in the nick of time.
The background was done with Lindy's (Polka Purple) Magical Shaker and (Banff Blue) Squirt onto a piece of white cardstock. Then I splattered (Glittering Gold) Magical Shaker over it, but it's very subtle.
The sentiment, card base, and blue cardstock edges were embossed with LG (King Midas Gold) Embossing Powder, and the center edges done with LG (Midnight Violet) EP.
To bring out the sentiment, I painted a cloud using Lindy's (Sidewalk Chalk) Spray.
Thanks for dropping by!

Beach Bird Houses Tag
The colors and images were inspired by the Lindy's Gang fun and fabulous June Color Challenge!
All of the stamping was done with the Hero Arts Basic Grey (Enjoy the Journey) Stamp Set. The leaves were stamped with permanent green inks and embossed with Lindy's Gang (Clearly Clear) Embossing Powder.
To create a lagoon, I added some ripples to the rest of the tag with white gesso, and painted the top with LG (Ocean Breeze Blue) Spray. Since I didn't have the right shade of green in my sprays, I combined (Yodeling Yellow and Lederhosen Laurel) Magical Shakers with water, and blended that with more yellow towards the bottom. Voila! I DID have the perfect green! After a few more coats of color, I went over the whole tag with Ranger Multi Medium Gloss.
The houses were made from some old Kaisercraft and Bo Bunny scraps, and adhered and coated with Prima 3d Matte Gel. They started out much lighter, so I deepened the colors with the same sprays and magicals, and gave them texture with Prima Patina Effect Pastes (Mint Green and Blue) and (Dusty) Rust Effect Paste. For some more dimension, I raised up the house on the right with a piece of cardboard.
The birds are from the Bo Bunny (Serendipity) Collection. Two were fussy cut, and the one flying is a diecut. I adhered colored feathers to them (yellow, pink, and blue) with Prima 3D Matte Gel, and deepened the colors again using Lindy's Sprays (Poincianna Red Flame and Ocean Breeze Blue), with that perfect mix of Magical Shakers (Lederhosen Laurel and Yodeling Yellow).
The flowers were embossed with LG (Tannenbaum Green Gold) onto white cardstock and painted with LG (Poincianna Red Flame) Spray. That Magical green combo was used for the leaves, with (Yodeling Yellow) in the centers. I also used the magical mix for the feather, which started out yellow, and was first given a spray of LG (Sea Mint Green).
A scrap of cardboard was used along the bottom. To mimic sand, I added Prima (Dusty) Rust Effect Paste and Mini Art Stones, and of course some shells.
I finished the edges of the tag with some white gesso, and backed it with white cheesecloth. Then I dyed some strands of the cheesecloth with LG Sprays (Ocean Breeze Blue and Poincianna Red Flame), and again that mix of Magical Shakers (Lederhosen Laurel and Yodeling Yellow) to top it off.

All the World's a Stage Postcard
I started by stamping the (Around the World) Stamperia Stamp onto the top right corner with (Jet Black) Archival Ink.
The next step was adding Prima Black Gesso to the (Steampunk Man) Stamperia Stencil. Then I smooshed and painted it all in several layers, starting with Lindy's Gang Sprays (Cafe Au Lait and Golden Doubloons), Magical Shakers (Antique Gold, Antique Bronze, and Bratwurst Brown), and Squirts (Beaver Tail Brown and Poutine Gold). Once it all dried, I reapplied the stencil and used my finger to apply Finnabair Metallique Wax (Vintage Gold) over the black gesso, and (Bronze Age) to the edges.
The curtain rod was embossed with Lindy's Gang (King Midas Gold) Embossing Powder onto black cardstock, with the main image representing the curtains with all of the folds of her dress, fussy-cut from a magazine. To create a spotlight, I painted the center with (Poutine Gold) Squirts, and embossed over it with LG (Clearly Clear) Embossing Powder.
I printed out the quote for the April Mini Challenge at More Than Words to use the word "All", and finished the edges with Finnabair Metallique (Vintage Gold) Wax.
