February is the month of love, and the I Heart You Unmounted Rubber Stamp from Red Rubber Designs, is perfect for all of your Valentine's projects, including weddings and anniversaries! With a few other stamps, and an old plastic zipper, I created this card for my husband.
My design inspiration came from Sketch #186 at Feeling Sketchy.
My design inspiration came from Sketch #186 at Feeling Sketchy.
I stamped the largest heart from the I Heart You Set on the back of the grey pocket, and cut it out, revealing the red cardstock with the sentiment. Then I hand-stitched around the heart, and machine-stitched around the pocket, after embossing it with the Background Stripes Stamp and Emerald Creek Hammered Metal EP.
To mimic a love note coming out of the pocket, I embossed a piece of white cardstock with the Vintage Script Cling Mounted Stamp, anchored by three hearts from the I Heart You set.
The zipper was embossed with Emerald Creek Hammered Metal EP, and attached to a couple of 6" strips of red cardstock, embossed with the Victorian Borders Stamp using Emerald Creek Black Onyx EP.
Thanks for taking a look, and shop Red Rubber Designs for these stamps and more!
