Prima Marketing Golden Coast Art Journal ~ FotoBella DT

Have you seen the beautiful Prima Marketing Golden Coast 8 X 8 Essentials Bundle from FotoBella.com? I made an art journal page to showcase this fabulous collection, in addition to one of the ATC's I previously made with it.

I started by adding scraps from the Golden Coast 8 X 8 Paper Pad, and spraying them and the background with Distress Spray Stains (Blueprint Sketch and Broken China), along with Lindy's Gang Spray (Tiffany's Blue).

Taking inspiration from the DREAM ATC, I embossed more netting with the Prima Finnabair Net & Wire Stamp using Ranger Distress Embossing Powder (Brushed Corduroy).

     Added some Chipboard Stickers.

And finished it up with Prima flowers and greenery (Camarillo and Sunset Beach)!

Unfortunately this is my last post for the FotoBella Design Team Team, due to worsening chronic health issues. I'll still be creating, but at a much slower pace. Thanks for your visit and support!

Memorial Day Layout ~ FotoBella DT

Never forget the men and women who have died, while bravely serving our country's armed forces! This Memorial Day, I'm honoring my late uncle, who served in the Army, with this page that I scrapped of him, featuring Prima Marketing's Rust Pastes from FotoBella.com.

My design inspiration came from Sketch #2, used for the May Monthly Sketch Challenge at Scrapbook.com.

I started with a piece of black cardstock, and TCW Chickenwire stencil that I applied Prima Marketing Rust Paste (Camouflage Set) to, using all three colors from the set. Then I assembled the postcards and papers, cut and torn from Stamperia's Around the World 12 X 12 Paper Pad, and inked along the edges with Distress Inks.

The key, chains, gears, and cogs were made with Prima Marketing's Black Gesso applied to the Stamperia Steampunk Mechanism Thick Stencil. Once dry, I used my fingers to rub on some Prima Marketing Metallique Waxes (Bronze Age, Rich Copper, Brushed Iron, and Old Silver), followed by Prima's Red and Brown Rust Pastes.

The same steps were used on the large circle that I glued twine to, before coating with black gesso. Then I did some stamping and fussy cutting with Prima Marketing's Finnabair Stamps, adding Rust Pastes to one of the gears, and popping it up over the circle.

The buttons belonged to my late grandma, some covered with Rust Pastes, along with the brads and anchor on the photo, that's finishing the hand-stitching.

Thanks for looking, and check out all of the GREAT Memorial Day Sales going on at FotoBella.com!

Prima Marketing French Riviera ATC's ~ FotoBella DT

Have you tried any of the fabulous pastes from Prima Marketing? There's so many great textures and effects you can add to any project, and they clean up so easily! So I made a set of ATC's with some Patina Effect Paste and Rust Paste Camouflage Set, featuring some French Riviera Stamps and the Shell and Anchor Stencil from FotoBella.com.

I started by coating some playing cards with Heavy White Gesso, and then spraying with Broken China and Cracked Pistachio Distress Spray Stains. With a Dabbing Brush, I applied Patina Effect Paste to the Shell and Anchor Stencil, using all three colors from the set. Then I added sand to the bottom of the shell and anchor cards, with Dusty from the Rust Paste Camouflage Set, and really love the results!

All of the stamping was done with Ranger's Jet Black Archival Ink, using the French Riviera 4 X 6 Cling and French Riviera #2 Stamps. I decided NOT to color my stamping, for a black and white effect with the ocean colors, except for a few touches on the card below, that I painted with Tarnished Brass Distress Spray Stain. Then I popped up some of the fussy-cut pieces for some dimension.

The bubbles were created with the same stencil using white gesso, topped with a coat of Sprinkled Sugar Stickles for some sparkle.

Each card is backed with a piece of torn white cardstock, and the edges colored with Broken China and Cracked Pistachio Distress Inks. Finally, I hand-stitched the twine to the netting, that I recycled from some fruit.

Thanks for looking, and shop FotoBella.com for these supplies and more!

Spring Bird Art Journal Page ~ FotoBella DT

Hello! Today I'm sharing my latest art journal page using Dyan Reaveley's Dylusions Paints from FotoBella.com. These paints are so creamy and vibrant in color, unlike any I've ever used before, and I highly recommend them!

For this page I used my fingers and Ranger's Mini Ink Blending Tool to apply Bubblegum Pink, Funky Fuchsia, Black Marble, and White Linen to some of my stencils. Tim Holtz' Blossom Stencil along the left, was layered a couple of times with the pinks, and the dots with White Linen using Prima Marketing's Salvage District Clocks Stencil. In the middle of it all, is this adorable clip art bird that I printed onto white cardstock and cut out.

On the top left and bottom right corners, I applied Prima Marketing's Heavy White Gesso and Heavy Black Gesso to Tim Holtz' ZigZag Stencil for some texture.

Then I used some old stamps to emboss the title and the chicken wire on the bottom left.

Thanks for your visit, and shop FotoBella to get your own Dylusion's Paints that are sold individually or in sets.
