Somebunny's Thinking Cards ~ Red Rubber Designs DT

Happy early Easter! I made a couple of cards for my sweet little nephew and niece, featuring the Somebunny's Thinking Cling Mounted Rubber Stamp from Red Rubber Designs. The eggs and background were smooshed with Distress Inks onto white cardstock.

All of the images were stamped with permanent brown and green inks, and painted with various sprays.

Then I did some fussy-cutting, and layered the carrots to show through the sheer ribbon.

I used the same brown ink for the sentiment, and finished all of the colored cardstock edges with Picket Fence Distress Ink.

It was easy to make this card the same, with a simple switch of blue and pink, but hard to decide on which one I like better!

Happy Easter! ~ Red Rubber Designs DT

Happy Easter!! I wanted to share the whole card that I made featuring the Somebunny's Thinking stamp from Red Rubber Designs!

I started with a recycled piece of cardboard, that I sprayed with black, brown, and copper mists. Then for some texture I added Distress Embossing Powder (Vintage Photo) and Ranger Verdigris Embossing powder, which I also used for the grass on the tag using the Mountain Scenery stamp. After applying some white gesso dots to the tag, I colored it with Distress Inks, as well as  the cute bunnies, chipboard banner pieces, the lilac flowers, and to color the lace. The flowers were stamped with the Happily Grateful and Pressed Flowers stamps.

My design inspiration came from the March Cardmaps Challenge at Scrapbook.com using this Cardmaps sketch!

It's also my entry for the following challenges.

(cardboard), the color lilac, something metal (the tag bracket and brads on the flowers), and metal effect.

Thanks for looking, and have a wonderful Easter!
