World Card Making Day ~ FotoBella DT

     Today is World Card Making Day, so I joined the FotoBella Design Team in making a card for the occasion using Bo Bunny's Serendipity Ephemera from FotoBella.com. The rest of the team did a wonderful job using different products, and their cards can be seen here. 

     I'm such a fan of Bo Bunny's Ephemera packs! They're always packed full of embellishments and papers that are perfect for card making! Like the clocks, all fussy-cut from the papers in the Serendipity Ephemera, and embossed along the edges with Ranger's Silver and Vintage Photo Distress Embossing Powders. I popped a couple of them up, adding brads from the pack to the centers of some of the clocks. 

     To the cream background paper, also from the Ephemera, I added some Weathered Wood and Frayed Burlap Distress Inks with some water to create some texture. Then I used Prima Marketing's Salvage District Clock Stencil with my Mini Blending Tool to apply Walnut Stain and Ground Espresso Distress Inks. 

     I used my old Ranger Alpha Mask with Weathered Wood and Vintage Photo Distress Inks on one of the clocks to mask "46"years of marriage for my parents. Then I added some sparkle to the flower below it, with Silver Stickles.

     The sentiment was embossed with Vintage Photo Distress Embossing Powder. Then I used fibers from my own stash to the Chipboard Clock Button, also found in the Ephemera. Finally, I distressed the paper edges with Tim Holtz' Paper Distresser,  and finished them off with machine stitching.

Lucky 2 Have U Card ~ FotoBella DT

     Happy St. Patrick's Day! Sixteen years ago today my cousin dragged me out with him, and brought me and my husband together, so this Irish holiday really holds a special place in my heart! Of course I had to make him a card, and with all of the greens in Bo Bunny's new Secret Garden Ephemera  it was easy to do.

     I tore a piece of the book page from the Ephemera with the green definition, and colored it with Distress Inks (Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron). Then I layered it over the papers that also come in the Ephemera, adding gold embossing powder to the edges, as well as the shamrock that I cut from green cardstock. I added Green Stickles to the shamrock and outlined it with black hand-stitching. For the sentiment I used Tim Holtz' Cargo Alphabet Stencil, masking LUCKY with Jet Black Archival Ink and Golden Rod Stickles. The rest was masked with Memento Cottage Ivy and Bo Bunny's Wasabi Glitter Paste. Then I finished it up with the gold sheer ribbon from my own stash, and the striped button from the Ephemera, that you can get @ FotoBella!

Bo Bunny Secret Garden Easter Card ~ FotoBella DT

     The beautiful new Bo Bunny Secret Garden I Want It All Bundle from FotoBella is the perfect Spring/Easter collection, but could also be used for so much more! I love that the colors aren't all pastel, but soothing blues, greens, purples, and pinks. Here's a fun little card that I made for my son, using the Eggcellent Stamp to make the grass, eggs, bunny, and "Easter".

Forever Young Card ~ FotoBella DT

     I'm back with another card to share using Bo Bunny's Forever Young I Want It All Bundle from FotoBella! This one was made with love for my brave, little, nephew, who's battling and conquering cancer right now. I wish we didn't live so far away!  He loves to play cards, so I included the ones that come in the Ephemera.

     

     The green paper, ribbon, and arrow stamp that I used on top, also come in the Ephemera. I fussy cut the donuts from the back of the "Smile" paper, that comes in the 12 X 12 Collection Pack, and used the Alpha Stickers to spell "sending".  The envelope comes in the Layered Chipboard, and was just the right touch for this card. I cut "peace" off of the "Love & Hugs" Chipboard piece, and inked the edges with blue ink. You can't send love without some hearts, like the Chipboard ones that I used here. Bo Bunny Forever Young Card Tutorial ~ FotoBella DT

   Stay forever young with these cute little donuts that I made using Bo Bunny's Forever Young I Want It All Bundle from FotoBella! I even added some sugar to them with Glitter Paste (Sugar), and strung them up on this fun card.

Pop Quiz Graduation Card ~ FotoBella DT

   I decided to get an early start on graduation with this fun card that I made using Bo Bunny's Pop Quiz I want it all bundle from FotoBella.

   This is my take on sketch #5  used here for the April Card Sketch Challenge @ Scrapbook.com.

   I started by masking the notebook paper stencil onto 2 different papers with some Distress Inks (Chipped Sapphire, Black Soot, and Peacock Feathers). I also used Peacock Feathers around the graduation cap, which I popped up for some dimension. I used some stickers on some of the banner pieces and the top part with conGRADulations on it. Most of the stars were stamped with the stamps that came in the ephemera package, which is like a little package of treasure, and is where I also got the red bling star and blue circle bling. I even used the paper clip from the package that was holding together some ribbons. Instead of ribbon though, I decided to use some colored rafia to go through the square button, to mimic a tassel.
