1920's Collage Tag ~ Red Rubber Designs DT

     This fabulous tag features the 1920's Collage Cling Mounted Rubber Stamp from Red Rubber Designs!

     I was inspired by this month's color challenge at Lindy's Stamp Gang.

     After applying some gesso to my tag with a stencil, I sprayed it with various Lindy's Stamp Gang Sprays,( Cotton Candy Pink, Cosmopolitan Pink, Fuzzy Navel Peach, Pineapple Paradise, and TiffanyLou Blue ). I used the same sprays to color my image, which I embossed with Midnight Pewter Embossing Powder. Then I combined TiffanyLou Blue spray with Cathedral Pines Green to get the background color, and combined Witch's Potion Purple with Sidewalk Chalk for a lighter shade of purple, which I used on my flowers and fiber. Finally I went over the dress and gloves with Brushed Nickel spray, machine-stitched around the image, and popped it up onto my tag. 

      The flowers were cut with my Cricut Expression, using flower #3 from the Mother's Day Bouquet cartridge. I cut two at 1" and one at 3/4" for the center bud out of white cardstock. Then I colored them with my sprays, scrunched them up while wet, and glued them together once they were dry.  I also used some sprays to deepen the colors of my fibers, which originally were a pale yellow and purple. I love how easy it is to custom make my own colors with Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays, and the beautiful shimmer that it has!
