Basic Grey Spice Market Layout ~ FotoBella DT

     I went through my old bundles from FotoBella, and dug up Basic Grey's Spice Market to create this page of me and my honey!

      This collection was perfect for this months Major Case File No. 205 at CSI, and it's been SO long since I've had the opportunity to play along!

    In addition to using the sketch, I also went with this EVIDENCE:
* chevrons (the paper
* stripes (the black and white background paper has a striped design)
* clouds (painted with white gesso and paint)
* something transparent (black transparency under the yellow half rosette)
* straws (I covered straws with paper above the rosettes)
* wet medium (Magicals, gesso, and paint on the clouds)

             For the wet medium, I sprinkled some Lindy's Stamp Gang Magicals (Sassy Sapphire) onto white cardstock and sprayed it with water. Once dry, I used Bo Bunny White Gesso and paint to make clouds, which is what really inspired me from the evidence. The black transparency is my something transparent, and comes in the Spice Market Die-Cut Cardstock and Transparency Forms, along with the True Happiness Die.

     The die that's under the bottom photo and the white flowers on top come in the Waterfall Theme Pack, and the strips of leaves are stickers that come with the paper collection. Then I used the Chipboard strip that says YOU & ME, inking the edges with Worn Lipstick Distress Ink.

     All of the paper edges were distressed with the Tim Holtz Paper Distresser, and then machine stitched. The chipboard alphas were covered with Waterfall Stickles for a little sparkle.

     I made half rosettes with punched edges under the straws, adding My Mind's Eye Chalk Studio 2 Enamel Dots to the centers, and 3 little ones under TRUE HAPPINESS. From the TESTIMONY I journaled about time outdoors, and used the Inspiration Words, relax and outdoors.

     Thanks for looking!
